2011 Louisiana XC State Championship Series Concludes with “Battle at the Bend,” Awards Ceremony at Cypress Bend Resort

Many, LA, November 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Extreme mountain bikers from across the country will travel to Cypress Bend Resort in northwest Louisiana to face Hercules, a 6.1-mile race course with almost 1,000 feet of grueling climbs and wicked downhill elevation changes, as they compete in the November 19 “Battle at the Bend,” the final race of the 2011 Louisiana XC State Championship Series.

A USA Cycling sanctioned series, the Louisiana XC State Championship Series consists of seven adrenaline-pumping rounds of cross-country mountain bike racing that span across the entire state.

Following the “Battle at the Bend,” the Louisiana XC State Championship Series awards dinner will honor the top three racers in each category and age group. The series-end awards dinner will be held in Cypress Bend Resort’s Grand Ballroom.
