National Women’s Ministry Challenges Women to Make a Local Impact

LeadHer’s vision is to challenge and equip women to make a deeper impact for Christ through ongoing participation in local chapters. This community impact is being accomplished through service projects, leadership development training, mentoring programs and personal challenges and training to reach others.

Buffalo, MO, November 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- When Christie Love founded LeadHer in January 2011, she never imagined how hungry women across the country were for this type of ministry for themselves and their communities. In less than one year, ten LeadHer chapters have launched, and five others are in the process of being created.

LeadHer’s vision is to challenge and equip women to make a deeper impact for Christ through ongoing participation in local chapters. This community impact is being accomplished through service projects, leadership development training, mentoring programs and personal challenges and training to reach others.

Love also wanted to create a way to encourage and equip LeadHer members and other women on a daily basis. She gathered a team of writers and editors from all over the United States to assemble The LeadHer Challenge: 365 devotions to encourage and inspire women in their calling from God. The daily devotional book has been published by Author House Publishing Company and is releasing in late November 2011, in time for the holiday season.

Love believes that LeadHer is growing because women are uniquely wired for relationship and community. “We all long to leave a lasting impact on the lives of those around us,” says Love. She emphasizes, “God designed all women to be a LeadHer because all women have the ability to influence the life of someone around them. This is the message we want women to hear – that regardless of your title or role, you can be a leader within your sphere of influence.”

Women who are interested in starting a LeadHer Local chapter in their community, finding a chapter near them, or ordering a copy of The LeadHer Challenge can find more information at www.leadher.org.
