There is a major announcement that has been made by the PA State Athletic Commission that will be discussed. His gym was opened in July 2006 and is named Steve Blackman's Fighting Systems. He's gym features MMA classes as well as professional wrestling training. The website for his gym is www.harrisburg-mma.com
Their mixed martial arts school is located at 2200 Paxton Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111. The school sits just off interstate 83 next to Brenner Cadillac and about a mile from the Harrisburg Mall.
Their 4500sq ft facility consists of 1600 sq ft of mats, a boxing ring, heavy bags, muay thai bags, speed bags, and various types of other training gear. As their gym and success continue to grow, they will evaluate our needs and make all of the necessary upgrades to keep us Harrisburg's premiere mixed martial arts school.
The days of just learning a couple of self-defense moves, or 1 martial arts discipline are over. Today, you must have a knowledge of all areas of mixed martial arts.
