Gary Sohmers Presents the "Rock n Soul Holiday Concert" on PBS in Watertown, NY
The “Rock n Soul Holiday Concert” will be airing on select PBS stations this Holiday season. The TV program features Holiday musical performances by Danny Klein's Full House (of The J. Geils Band fame), Sal Baglio (of The Stompers), Barrence Whitfield with Bellevue Cadillac, newcomer Casey Desmond (recently a contestant on NBC-TV's The Voice), and the Fools.
Watertown, NY, December 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The "Rock n Soul Holiday Concert" will be airing on select PBS stations this Holiday season including Watertown NY, Denver, CO and Claremore OK.

Dec. 11 at 10:30 pm and Dec 24 at 11:30 pm on WPBS in Watertown NY
Dec. 25 at 3:30 pm on KRMA in Denver CO
Dec. 21 at 8:00 PM and Dec. 23 at 9:30 pm on KRSC in Claremore OK
The TV program was produced in HD by Bennett Chandler of StudioMetronome and features Holiday musical performances by Danny Klein's Full House (of J. Geils Band fame), Sal Baglio (of The Stompers), Barrence Whitfield with Doug Bell and Bellevue Cadillac, newcomer Casey Desmond (recently a contestant on NBC-TV's The Voice), and the Fools.
Beginning with the J. Geils band bassist’s solo project, Danny Klein’s Full House performs a previously unrecorded J. Geils Band song “Going To A Christmas Party” (written by Peter Wolf and Seth Justman), and followed by former front man of The Stompers performing his classic “All I want For Christmas is A Rock and Roll Guitar” the program sets a groove with a holiday vibe.
Soul belter Barrence Whitfield supported by the Rock ‘n Soul Holiday All Stars including current Grammy nominee Bellevue Cadillac’s Professor Doug Bell, Jeff "Jungle Boy" Thompson, Wolf Ginandes, and Phil Deville with horn section Jimmy "Two Suits" Capone and Paul Ahlstrand perform the screaming rhythm and blues classis “Back Door Santa.”
The program is multi-generational including Casey Desmond performing “Talking To God” written by Casey, a psychedelic modern musical masterpiece featuring the guitar styling of Taylor Barefoot.
Casey is followed by the world famous party rockers The Fools, who took their classic “Psycho Chicken” and converted it into “Psycho Santa” and had a lot of fun performing it on stage for the first and only time.
The program concludes with Rosy Rosenblatt, harpist in Danny Klein’s Full House, doing a smooth harmonica solo of “The Christmas Song” by Nat King Cole.
The concert was hosted and produced by TV program Executive Producer Gary Sohmers, who has appeared as an appraiser of pop culture, collectibles and memorabilia for 13 seasons on the hit PBS-TV program “Antiques Roadshow.”
