Samurai Karate Studio Donates School Supplies to Sandlapper Elementary School

Columbia, SC, January 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Sensei Chris Feldt, owner and chief instructor for Samurai Karate Studio, located in Richland Northeast Columbia, South Carolina recently announced his school donated school supplies to Sandlapper Elementary School.

"My students are asked to complete community service projects as part of their rank requirments," stated Feldt, "and this was a project that one of my kids thought of."

A box was placed near the entrance to the karate studio and SKS students and family members dropped off donations when they came to class.

"Like the traditions of the noble Samurai, I want my students to learn the value of serving others and helping out someone in need," commented Feldt. "Helping others is just good self defense for your community!"

Samurai Karate Studio teaches a traditional style of karate to children and adults, beginning at ages 4 and up. It's curriculum includes anger management, verbal judo, environmental self defense, peace education through acts of kindness, and project based leadership through community service.
