Leading Drug Rehab Doubles Output of Public Resources

Recovery First - a leading Florida drug rehab center, has announced the expansion of the public resources it offers.

Hollywood, FL, January 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Recovery First's drug rehab center – widely considered one of the most successful and comprehensive drug addiction treatment centers in the country – announced this week that it is doubling its output of free addiction and alcoholism resources. The announcement comes less than a month after the drug rehab center launched one of the most intensive medically-monitored inpatient treatment programs in the U.S. – another addition to a stable of addiction treatment programs.

The Florida drug rehab center has offered free information and referral resources for more than a decade, including assessments, consultations, insurance verification checks, help with court issues, an active Facebook and Twitter presence and a comprehensive selection of professional articles on addiction and alcoholism topics. James F. Davis, CAS, Founder and CEO of the treatment center, said that they had one major New Year's Resolution to fulfill for 2012: to help even more people.

"We know that we can't reach everyone who has a drug problem, so we set out to offer meaningful resources to anyone who wants them. If these resources later prompt those people to get help or to get help for someone they love, then we've done our job - even if they go elsewhere for treatment. Our New Year's Resolution is to do even more for people suffering from the disease of addiction, and that's exactly what we're doing."

Recovery First is one of the few drug rehab centers in the nation that offers hundreds of professional, referenced articles with citations pointing back to sources. The unbiased nature of the articles – which cover everything from Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome to Drugs and Sex - is an indicator that the organization is totally committed to helping people stop drinking or using drugs. In fact, the Florida drug rehab was even featured on A&E's television show "Intervention."

The additional resources primarily come in the form of more articles – published on a daily basis – and an increased social media presence in the drug addiction and alcohol rehab communities. But Recovery First's CFO indicated there is even more to come;

"We're constantly thinking of new ways to help people with addiction," says Debbie Davis, Why? “Because we’ve been there; and there is nothing worse than living with active addiction. Recovery gave us a life worth living and it is with tremendous gratitude that we have dedicated our lives to helping others recover from this disease. If all of these extra resources only help one person, it will be worth it."
