'Stache Dash Running Race Celebrates Entrepreneurs

San Francisco, CA, February 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Picnic Dash Productions is excited to bring athletes, entrepreneurs, and mustache enthusiasts together with the inaugural 5k/ 5 mile ’Stache Dash on February 25th in Golden Gate Park. This is a BYO mustache event, and runners can win raffle tickets for crossing the finish line, mustaches intact. Once the races are over, the birthday party begins.

The Pioneer Log Cabin picnic tables will be filled with plenty of cake and mimosas in celebration of Picnic Dash’s first birthday. This small business, which regularly hosts themed running parties in the park, is based out of the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center in San Francisco. As a small business, Picnic Dash aims to help other small businesses grow. That’s why this event benefits Opportunity Fund, a local nonprofit that provides microloans for small businesses, as well as matched savings accounts and community real estate financing.

Businesses that have benefited from Opportunity Fund, like Bu Tong Acupuncture and Day Dream Therapy, have donated gift cards for the post-race raffle. The top three male and female finishers in each race win prizes as well.
