Cavitation Zero Point Energy Successfully Harnessed by NanoSpire, Inc. Producing Dramatic Levels of Fusion & Transmutation in Water

Buxton, ME, February 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Nanospire, Inc. is announcing its successful investigation of fusion produced by cavitation in water. NanoSpire has pioneered controlled formation and aiming of high-speed cavitation re-entrant jets, resulting in four recently issued patents. The technology reaches across many markets, including nano/micro fabrication, targeted drug delivery, microsurgery, photovoltaic solar, cost-effective algae oil extraction for producing biodiesel and fusion.

In February, 2004 Mark L. LeClair, CEO & Founder of NanoSpire, Inc., discovered a crystalline form of water produced by cavitation, while investigating cavitation machining with the jets. Many of the jets were faceted and possessed tremendous electrostatic charge. The crystallized jets carved long half-hexagonal trenches in materials guided by electrostatic charge, removing far more material than could be accounted for. Attracted to its supersonic bow shock by the Casimir Force, the crystal accelerated to what appears to be relativistic speeds in very short distances. The phenomenon was named the LeClair Effect. Heavy element transmutation was observed bull-dozed by the bow shock that matched stellar and supernova nucleosynthesis.

In March, 2007 Mark LeClair built and tested the first cavitation reactor powered by the LeClair Effect, based on patented technology. Key experiments performed from July – August, 2009 produced a hot water heater under a grant from an LENR advocate titled: Utilization of Crystallized Cavitation Reentrant Jets for Zero Point Energy Production. Mark LeClair and Serge Lebid discovered that the scaled-up LeClair Effect reactor triggered intense fusion, fission and transmutation in water. The 1.25” ID by 12” long reactor produced 2.9 kW of hot water using 840 watts of input, 3.4 times more energy out than in. Water temperature was raised 32 degrees F passing through the reactor with 50 degree F temperature spikes. Twelve experiments were performed, with 100% repeatability.

Elemental analysis (SEM-EDAX) of the transmuted material was performed by U. Maine Orono (UMO), Media Sciences, Oakland, NJ and by Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) researcher and advocate Dr. Edmund Storms. XPS analysis by UMO confirmed that the glassy coating seen covering much of the reactor cores was diamond. SEM analyses detected 34 elements ranging from carbon to polonium. The same samples were also analyzed with mass spectroscopy (LA-ICP-MS) by Shiva Technologies, Syracuse, NY, detecting 78 elements ranging from lithium to californium and 108 isotopes ranging from 7Li to 249Cf.

The discovery of the zero point energy based LeClair Effect triggering fusion, fission and large scale elemental transmutation by Mark LeClair and Serge Lebid was historic and could solve both the energy and natural resource crises. The LeClair Effect explains excess heat and transmutation observed in electrolytic cells (Pons, Fleischmann & others) and by hydrodynamic means such as the Griggs pump or sonofusion (ultrasound), cavitation is present in all of them. The current technology could easily provide large scale production of hot water for residential, commercial and industrial hot water at a capital and operating cost far lower than fossil fuel, nuclear and other LENR-based technologies. NanoSpire is currently seeking investors, licensees or joint venture partners to accelerate commercialization and development of the technology.

Mark L. LeClair, Founder, President and CEO. LeClair founded NanoSpire, Inc. with Sergio Lebid in 2002, to harness cavitation. Mark has a BSME w/honors (1983) and a MSME (1988) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Mark consulted widely in cavitation and CFD, clients included DuPont Central Research, Estee Lauder, NASA, Merck, Perkin-Elmer and many mixing companies. He was a hydrodynamicist in the Fluid Mechanics Group, Lockheed Missiles and Space Co., (1989 – 1994), responsible for hydrodynamic analysis of cavitation and super-cavitation during the underwater launch of the Trident missiles. Sergio Lebid, Co-Founder, EVP. Lebid was Co-founder and previously VP of Sales and Marketing for Five Star Technologies, Inc., Cleveland, OH, a well-known cavitation processing nanophase materials company and former equipment manufacturer. A world recognized expert in the field of cavitation processing, he has 20 years of experience producing nanophase materials, business development and technical experience and experience in sales and marketing. He earned his '79 BBA degree from Cleveland State University, international business management major and chemistry minor.
