Boyle, an entrepreneur who is the founding partner of the Baltimore-based lacrosse camp and education company, Trilogy Lacrosse, is a currently a standout player for the New York Titans of the National Lacrosse League and the Philadelphia Barrage of Major League Lacrosse.

Written by Jack McDermott of Tallahassee, Fla., Warriors is a compilation of short life stories of 15 pro players who star in the National Lacrosse League and the outdoor league, Major League Lacrosse. The book is now available for purchase via on-line retailers such as http://www.amazon.com and http://www.barnesandnoble.com as well as book stores around North America.

“Weekend Warriors is an ideal book for the growing numbers of young people across North America now playing lacrosse in camps and in school,” said New Chapter Press Publisher Ewing Walker. “It’s a fun and fascinating read for those who want to learn more about the heroes of North America’s oldest and fastest-growing sport.”

“There’s a charm with professional lacrosse in that the stars on the field are also heroes and role models off the field as school teachers, firemen, businessmen and community leaders,” said McDermott. “Lacrosse players are ordinary people with ordinary jobs who just happen to have extra-ordinary abilities as lacrosse players.”
