The medical device trademark is registered with many other international intellectual property organizations, including those in the United States of America, Australia, China, the European Union, Japan, Korea and Singapore.
The babyLance name and logo were designed by MediPurpose with the cooperation of an international graphics consultant that also designed the logo for the SurgiLance(r) safety lancet and MediPlus(tm) Advanced Wound Care Products.
babyLance is a single-use infant heelstick utilized to obtain a blood sample from the heels of newborn (babyLance(r) BLN) and preemie (babyLance(r) BLP) infants.
A new, re-invented version of babyLance that incorporates new design features is soon to be released under this trademark. This new babyLance was developed using input from customers about what they were looking for in an "ideal" heel incision device.
