Modern Day Stand By Me “The Club” Sets Its Sights on the Stars

Bayonne, NJ, May 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Neustein Entertainment and Chiron Films, Inc. joins Fixed Sign Productions to produce “The Club” an upcoming feature film. The Club is an epic tale based on a true story set in the projects of Bradford, Mass. “The Club” depicts the true life story of Charles Cipple and his last day with his best friends. As one of his best friends Dan says “If it’s ya last day kid, we gotta make da most of it.” These boys make the most of their final day together but they also encounter the tragic consequences of the projects when a practical prank turns deadly.

“'The Club' is a smart and edgy story told by solid characters who must somehow find a way to make one day last forever,” stated David Neustein of Neustein Entertainment, “When you're young, all you have is your friends. You lose them, you lose everything.”

Cee French Harth of Chiron Films, Inc. states, “This story is a modern day Stand By Me in the projects. We are very excited to bring this story to life.”

To realize their vision of the film, the producers are in talks with several A list stars for the roles of Charles' mother and aunt, respectively.
