Operation Warm Partners with K-LOVE and Air1 Radio’s Fall Pledge Drive

K-LOVE and Air1 Radio partner with Operation Warm to provide new high quality winter coats to a children in need.

Chadds Ford, PA, October 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In a creative partnership with K-LOVE and Air1 Radio, Operation Warm will provide a new high quality winter coat to a child in need for every $40 monthly EZ Pledge given during each of their Fall Pledge Drive’s held in October.

K-LOVE reaches about 11.5 million listeners each week in cities including New York, Chicago, San Antonio and Denver. It is also the sixth most streamed station in the world.

Air1 impacts about 1.3 million listeners each in cities including Houston, Riverside/San Bernardino, Phoenix and San Antonio.

Founded in 2002, Operation Warm is a non-profit organization providing new winter coats to children in need. In addition to receiving the gift of warmth and ownership of a brand new winter coat, children are gaining confidence in themselves. Celebrating its 1 millionth coat recipient in February 2012, the organization continues to grow.

“We really believe in the work of K-LOVE and Air1 Radio and we’re excited to support what is happening there,” says Paul Daigle, Director of Development Initiatives at Operation Warm, “by providing a new winter coat for each EZ gift collectively, we’re able to help even more people.”

With over 16.4 million children living in poverty across the United States, and many without the necessity of a winter coat, Operation Warm continues to strive to bring the gift of warmth to even more children. “22% of all American children live in poverty,” Daigle points out. “The need is great, but with the help of groups like K-LOVE and Air1, we hope to serve even more children.”
