Feral Cat Sanctuary Paws On Your Heart Announces 2012 Black Cat Contest

Saskatoon, Canada, October 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Just in time for Halloween, Saskatoon-based non-profit group Paws On Your Heart, has announced a contest for the most adorable, lovable black cat. The group is dedicated to helping stray and feral cats, as well as promoting overall cat welfare worldwide, and has started this contest to raise awareness about the challenges black cats can face, especially this time of year.

The group says on their website: "We know that black cats have a bad reputation, especially during this spooky month of October, and we wanted to set this reputation straight with a contest celebrating black cats." They plan to prove that black cats are not unlucky or evil, as some people mistakenly believe, and hope to dispel the myths and superstitions that have led to black cats being feared for centuries. Winners will be announced on November 1st. For full contest information, visit their website: http://pawsonyourheart.com/black-cat-contest-2012/
