Martens Presents His Two New Avant-Garde Albums "Catharsis" and "Agamemnon" Which Will be Released on 12 and 13 November

Nijmegen, Netherlands, November 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Martens Presents His Two New Avant-garde Albums “Catharsis” and “Agamemnon” which will release on 12 and 13 November and are available in the internet stores such as iTunes, Amazon etc. These albums are different from the other albums of Martens since these are more modern, classical and thematic oriented. They include orchestral pieces (some accompanied with very expressive singing parts) which express the theme of each album. Catharsis is an old -Greek and psychoanalytic term for emotional and mental purging. Agamemnon is inspired on a highly praised and famous ancient Greek poetic piece from Easchylus. It is a fabulous description of all complicated emotions a human being can have in the case of betrayal, anger and revenge; Agamemnon leads the Greeks against Troy in the Trojan War. When he returns from the war he brings with him a women and lover who is a war gift (and daughter) from the defeated king of Troje “Priamos.” His wife is angry, shameful, and vengeful and decided to kill him. This emotions are all expressed in this album. It is like an internal exploration of Martens into his own deep internal layers and dynamics. Furthermore, the beautiful and artwork of the covers are created by word artist Ineke Martens.
