Gray Ghost Ventures, an Impact Investment Firm in Atlanta, Hires New CEO to Lead the Indian School Finance Company

Atlanta, GA, November 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Gray Ghost Ventures (“GGV”) announced today that the Indian School Finance Company (“ISFC”), a provider of loans and financial assistance for capacity building and infrastructure expansion to affordable private schools in India, appointed Neeraj Sharma as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Sharma was recruited by ISFC to increase the growth trajectory and penetration of the company, and replaces interim CEO Harish Mamtani. Harish will remain with ISFC through Mr. Sharma’s transition.

Most recently and prior to joining ISFC, Mr. Sharma was Senior Vice President & Head of Treasury for Fullerton India Credit Company. Fullerton India Credit Company Limited is one of India’s leading Non-Banking Finance Companies (NBFC), with a stated mission to bridge the gap between inclusion and access to financial services in the mass market segment.

“We’ve tasked Mr. Sharma with driving the company to a higher level of growth and believe that his entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen will be the catalyst for ISFC’s future success,” cited Mr. Arun Gore of Gray Ghost Ventures. “Neeraj’s enthusiasm, knowledge and experience in consumer lending are leadership qualities that caught our attention,” continued Arun, “and his past success in management, finance, planning, operations and customer relationships confirms his ability to help us realize the full potential of our company.”

“ISFC is helping build educational infrastructure in India by providing funding to schools, specifically Affordable Private Schools, to impart quality and affordable education for children of all ages,” said Neeraj Sharma. “The company not only is making a dent as a social impact investment but also has immense growth potential. The unique business proposition of the company coupled with an entrepreneurial opportunity led me to join the company. My endeavor is to make the company synonymous to school funding in India.”
