PR.com)-- Heart Centers of America announced today that as part of the national recognition of February as American Heart Month and the week of February 18th -22nd, 2013 as EECP® therapy week the center will conduct a Free educational seminar about EECP Therapy on Thursday February 21st, 1:30 p.m. at the Legacy Good Samaritan Building 2, 1040 NW 22nd Avenue, First Floor. The International EECP® Therapists Association (IETA), the national organization of EECP® therapists and other healthcare professionals who provide EECP® therapy in hospitals, clinics and private practices have declared this, the last full week in February, the Second Annual EECP® Therapy Week. EECP® therapy centers around the country and some participating centers overseas will host events and conduct activities designed to increase the public’s awareness of EECP® therapy and the role it plays in cardiovascular disease management.
Heart Centers of America, LLC, was founded in 1999 by Dr. Ronald Schutz. The clinical focus is exclusively EECP therapy and treats patients as an adjunct therapy - patients remain under the care of their own physician for the seven week treatment course.
EECP® therapy is an FDA cleared, Medicare approved, noninvasive outpatient therapy for treating patients who are experiencing the symptoms of angina and heart failure.
