Print Icon Moves in a Gilded Direction with Art, Printing, Gift and Decor Items

Boutiques will showcase signature heritage printing offerings and on-site gilding services alongside a curated collection of unique, design-inspired gifts.

New York, NY, February 23, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Print Icon, NYC’s destination for heritage printing and tailor-made stationery, will be opening the doors to its two new boutiques, celebrating a gilded life through art, paper, printing and curated treasures.

Vahid Pourkay and his brothers Navid and Hamid, owners of Print Icon, have been practicing their passion for artisan printing for over 30 years, determined to preserve the art of authentic print processes throughout the digital revolution. For Vahid and his team of graphic designers, making the leap into a new concept– marrying artisan printing, art and design-inspired décor items– is the realization of a lifelong dream.

Print Icon’s heritage print services have expanded to include on-site gilding in any color or metal effect. All stationery pieces, from business cards to wedding invitations, may be designed, gilded and printed on-site through Print Icon’s team of talented graphic designers and artisan printing techniques at both locations.

At the new boutique-gallery location, exhibits of revolving artists are featured together with Print Icon’s creative offerings. Print Icon will debut its first exhibit, “Welcome to my Eyes,” introducing the work of renowned Iranian writer, poet and satirist Parviz Shapour, on Feb. 25.

Lovers of art, design and life’s gilded details are invited to visit Print Icon at its new location on 125 West 21st Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues.

Offering on-site gilding, artisan printing, and custom graphic design alongside featured artists and a collection of design-inspired gifts, Print Icon celebrates a gilded life through art, paper and curated treasures.
