)-- Sonorous Entertainment Inc. continues its 2013 additions of the Platinum Gospel Series with the upcoming release of “Great Gospel Choirs” March 26th. The Gospel Choir is a great American tradition, where weekly hundreds of thousands of church goers across the country gather with their fellow community members and sing the praises of the Lord. It’s a tradition that some say will never die. HOB Records was one of the most influential rerecord companies in the choir scene. The HOB catalogue contains thousands of hours of choir recordings from the 60’s and 70’s. Platinum Gospel: Great Gospel Choirs is a collection of the finest recordings featured in this compilation. Included in this 12 track release are, The Thompson Community Singers, The Savettes Choral Group, Rev. James Cleveland & The Voices of Tabernacle, Christ Tabernacle Choir and many more. Also included are photos and album covers from the original releases to paint a more historically accurate picture of this great collection. Each track has been transferred from the original tapes and re-mastered for the finest listening experience.
The Platinum Gospel: “Great Gospel Choirs” is available in participating retail and online outlets this March 26th.
