Earl™ 2.0 Update Has Been Released by Angle's Earl™ Team Featuring Innovative Voice-Menu Navigation & the Addition of Over 4,000 Books to the Content Library

Earl™, the innovative voice driven text-to-speech iOS application for commuters, the sight-impaired, and those on the go, has released a new update.

Eugene, OR, June 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Earl™ team at Angle LLC has made improvements that increase the quality of Earl's voice recognition, re-engineered the voice menus, and added 4,000+ books to the over 400 newspapers, magazines, and websites available. Earl™ has been developed for Apple mobile devices like the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

The improved voice recognition has enhanced the user experience(UX) with Earl's completely voice-driven user interface(UI). The refined quality of the voice recognition also makes the addition and search for content available in Earl™ even more intuitive and seamless.

User feedback, coupled with the Angle UI/UX team has also bolstered the already robust Earl™ voice menu structure. This means that searching, adding, and listening to content has been streamlined to get the user of Earl™ their content quickly and efficiently. The increased flexibility within the application also allows new voice menu features for browsing content and moving up or down a page by voice command along with other creative additions to the voice menu commands.

The technological enhancements in the Earl™ 2.0 update also enable the Earl™ user to access and listen to any of over 4,000+ (and growing everyday) EPUB books. The library accessible to any user includes such titles as "Pride and Prejudice", "War of the Worlds", and "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". Each user may search for a book by either author name or title or by browsing by category. There are now many avenues of content discovery not only for books, but for magazine, newspaper, and other web content available through the Earl™ application.

Angle CTO Shane Johnson states; "Improving ease of use for and people on the go like commuters and runners as well as the sight-impaired is the continuing goal for Earl™." He continued; "Information aggregation and dissemination in sleek, intuitive apps are driving the consumer news and content application market. Angle is leading the charge to meet this demand with Earl™."
