Kristin Parshay Joins Brown Smith Wallace as Health Care Advisory Services Manager

St. Louis, MO, July 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Kristin Parshay joins Brown Smith Wallace as a manager in the firm’s health care advisory services practice. “Kristin’s broad management skills and deep financial process knowledge will add considerable value to the firm’s health care advisory services clients,” says Ron Present, principal in charge of the health care advisory services practice.

Prior to joining Brown Smith Wallace, Parshay served as a controller for Daughters of Charity Ministries, Inc., in St. Louis, where she was responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of a centralized finance function for the national organization. She has also managed Sarbanes-Oxley, internal audit, enterprise risk assessment and continuous improvement programs for several public and private companies within many industries, including retail, hospitality, not for profit, health care, and manufacturing and distribution.

Parshay earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Alma College and has completed 150 hours of coursework toward a master’s degree in professional accounting from Walsh College. She is also a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Parshay serves as a board member for the Vincentian Service Corps. A native of St. Charles, she currently resides in Ballwin, Missouri.
