Bill Redding and Ben Miller Join The Campaign Workshop

Campaign veterans add even stronger direct mail, online advertising and grassroots advocacy experience to the TCW team.

Washington, DC, August 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Campaign Workshop, a full-service political consulting firm that specializes in direct mail, print and online advertising for progressive issue advocacy, candidate and ballot initiative campaigns, today announced that Bill Redding and Ben Miller are joining the firm as a senior strategist and a Michigan-based consultant, respectively.

Bill Redding was bit by the campaign bug at the ripe old age of six, when he knocked on doors to support his grandfather’s successful bid for the local planning board. Since then, he’s worked for a long list of non-profits, labor unions and campaigns, and was a 2011 Campaigns & Elections “Rising Star.” Prior to joining The Campaign Workshop, Redding served as senior advisor for grassroots advocacy at AARP. He has also worked for Catalist, the Arizona Democratic Party, the Truck Safety Coalition and MSHC Partners.

“Bill brings a unique combination of advocacy, data and creative experience to the firm. That and his passion for progressive causes makes him a great fit for us,” said Joe Fuld, President of The Campaign Workshop.

Ben Miller, based in Michigan, joins The Campaign Workshop team after leading the Michigan House Democrats 2012 campaign effort, which included re-electing two marginal incumbents, holding two Democratic open seats and flipping six Republican held seats. Under Miller’s leadership, the caucus gained seats following a redistricting for the first time since 1972. Previously, Miller was executive director of the Coalition for Progress (CFP), directing its independent expenditure program for two cycles, including in 2008, when CFP spent almost $4 million helping to elect the largest Michigan House Democratic majority in 40 years.

“Ben combines a unmatched knowledge of Michigan politics with a mastery of field and communication tactics. We are proud to have an on-the-ground presence in the Midwest,” said Fuld.
