Ayled Rey Recently Recognized by America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals

Farmingdale, NY, August 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Ayled Rey of San Juan, Puerto Rico has recently been included in the America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals' Roundtable for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of Internal Medicine.

About Ayled Rey
Dr. Ayled Rey was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is currently the M.D., Chief Section of Internal Medicine at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs in San Juan where she specializes in internal medicine and nephrology. Dr. Rey earned her M.D. at the Universidad Central Del Este in 1976. She has been the attending physician in numerous locations including Hospital Universitario Ramon Ruiz Arnau (1981-82, 1987-90); Arecibo Regional Hospital (1982-85); VA Medical Center (1983 - present); Academic Appointments: Associate Professor San Juan Bautista Medical School (1982-84); Associate Professor of UCCEM - current; Chief Section Internal Medicine (1996 - present). Dr. Rey received the Honor Award for Service Rendered at Bayamon Hospital Emergency Room (1981-82). She is affiliated with the American Society of Nephrology and is the Puerto Rico License Practical Exam Authorized Examiner by the Tribunal Examinador de Medicos de Puerto Rico (1988). She is also the VA Medical Center representative of the Renal Council Committee. Her leisure time is spent with her family and painting.
