)-- Erik Murphy, NBA forward with the Chicago Bulls, has joined the inRecruit sports network.
“I believe inRecruit will help change the lives of kids that might not have otherwise been found by college programs,” said Erik Murphy, NBA guard with the Chicago Bulls.

Erik Murphy’s brother Alex, who was one of the top rated basketball recruits in the class of 2011, is currently a sophomore at Duke. Erik’s father Jay Murphy was a standout college basketball player for Boston College and then played 67 NBA games over four years from 1984 to 1988. He later would play in Europe including in France and Italy before retiring in 1995. And Murphy’s wife Päivi played professionally in Sweden and for the Finnish national team.
The inRecruit platform has been featured by NBC Sports, ABC and Comcast and is now widely adopted by athletes at all levels, coaches, sports media and professionals and in sports worldwide.

Erik Murphy is a professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the NBA. Murphy played high school basketball at St. Mark’s School in Southborough, Massachusetts. Murphy then went on to star at the University of Florida under Billy Donovan from 2009-2013. Murphy was named to the All-SEC Tournament team in 2012 and 2013. Murphy was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 2013 NBA Draft.
