9 Harbor Hotels select RateTiger for optimizing online revenue

Sao Paulo, Brazil, September 13, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Harbor Hotels, one of the leading hotel chains in Brazil catering to superior and economy segment, has selected eRevMax to increase their online sales and boost distribution exposure. Nine Harbor properties have been using RateTiger to improve rate management efficiencies across third party sales channels. The RateTiger Channel Management system helps hotels manage rates and inventory to a large & diverse distribution network and retrieve market room rate data for business intelligence and benchmarking.

As Brazil gets ready to host over 4 million tourists expected to arrive for the FIFA World Cup 2014 and the 2016 Summer Olympics, Harbor Hotels is looking at increasing their online presence and target new markets to reach out to more potential customers. RateTiger Channel Manager will help them to update rates and availability in real time across all third party sales channels simultaneously from a single platform, while bringing down the cost of booking acquisition. All reservations made on these online travel sites will be captured, and available inventory will be automatically redistributed for the hotels to sell last-room availability thus eliminating the chance of overbooking. Harbor Hotels can also diversify the product offerings by creating different room-types and packages which will be automatically mapped by RateTiger across these sales channels.

The Shopper helps hotels see trends in room rates over selected time periods and for up to 24 months in the future. The hotels can optimize their rate strategy with accurate forecasting by analyzing rates and ranking position in the rate reports and live alerts; all available within Shopper.
