BOMA San Diego to Host Earthquake Preparedness Workshop

Is your building ready for the next "big one?" The San Diego Building Owners and Managers Association invites you to attend an earthquake preparedness workshop on October 11, complete with a real life earthquake scenario and a panel of emergency preparedness experts.

The San Diego Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) will instruct commercial real estate professionals on how to prepare for, deal with and recover from the next “big one.” Attendees will participate in a real-life earthquake scenario, receive tips and tools on improving their courses of action and gain valuable knowledge on handling earthquake emergency situations from a panel of emergency preparedness experts.

The workshop is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 at the San Diego County of Operations Center at 5520 Overland Avenue in Kearny Mesa. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the program begins at 8 a.m. The seminar is $10 for BOMA members and colleagues, $25 for non-members with advance registration and $45 for non-members at the door.
