)-- Well Phillia Thomas is on the move, heading to Hollywood this October, discovered here in Cleveland she is an actor that you can not underestimate.
Her latest feature film “Swing lowe sweet Chariote” was filmed, cast, and written in Cleveland, Ohio. After it’s inclusion in the 2013 Greater Cleveland Urban film festival, and its world premiere at Solon Cinemas Phillia stated "2013 couldn’t get any better." Boy was she wrong!
Her latest short film called “Used to be” is about a young woman that goes through the challenge of defending her right to have a safe and peaceful life. Also filmed in Cleveland, Ohio and included in the 2013 Greater Cleveland film festival. “Used to be” will make its debut at the Hollywood Black film festival October 4, 2013 at 5:30pm at the Ricardo Montalban theatre.
“As an actor, I’ve always prayed that God would give me the right opportunity to leave Cleveland and explore my chances in Los Angeles or New York, and this is definitely the beginning of my prayers being answered,” Phillia stated.
Look out for Phillia in her upcoming projects including a web series called “Greek Chronicles” coming 2014. Her next feature film called “April Fooled” coming 2014.
