Wright USA Supports Life Insurance Awareness Month

Wilmington, DE, September 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Wright USA is pleased to support Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM) this September, a multi-media campaign sponsored by the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education (LIFE). The mission of this non-profit organization is to educate the public on the proper utilization of insurance as a way to safeguard their financial futures.

LIAM was created by the Life Foundation in 2004 in response to growing concern about the large number of Americans who lack adequate life insurance protection. Held each September, LIAM is an industry-wide effort involving hundreds of leading insurance companies and agencies.

“Wright USA share’s LIFE’s concerns over our nation’s under-utilization of insurance as part of their long-term financial planning strategy,” says Glenn Clark, President of Wright USA. “Recent studies show that 3 in 10 American households have no life insurance at all, and those with coverage usually do not maintain adequate limits.”

“There is no better time than during LIAM for Federal Employees to re-evaluate your life insurance needs,” suggests Clark. Maybe it’s time to upgrade your current coverage or buy additional coverage to address changes that have happened in your life (e.g., marriage, having a baby, buying a home, etc.) since you last obtained life insurance. You can use the online Life Insurance Needs Calculator offered by LIFE to get a general idea of your current life insurance needs.

Many of us fail to realize the significance of the financial difficulties their families would face as a result of the demise of the primary breadwinner. Surveys conducted recently indicate Americans are more concerned with being able to pay their mortgage and other bills today than they were even just a year or two ago. Many state they could not last even a month without the breadwinner’s salary.

Clearly, it’s vital for Federal Employees, to protect both their financial security and their family’s futures. Life insurance has been providing that type of security for over 200 years and is one of the few guarantees they can rely on to maintain the quality of life they’ve become accustomed to.

Wright USA recognizes Federal Employees’ need for life insurance protection and they address it by helping Federal Employees protect their financial futures with Life Insurance plans specifically tailored to their needs. In fact, during this year’s Federal Benefits Open Season, Wright USA will be offering an easy-to-enroll 10 Year Level Term Life Insurance product for a limited time.

Wright USA has served the insurance needs of Federal Employees exclusively since 1965 and has tailored their offerings to either bridge the coverage gaps or supplement the plans offered through OPM. The agency offers a wide variety of other insurance plans to Federal Employees, including Professional Liability, Disability, Dental, and Umbrella Liability.
