Louisiana's Cypress Bend Resort Completes Golf Course, Guestroom Enhancements

Many, LA, September 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- One of the Louisiana's popular getaway spots for families and groups, the Cypress Bend Resort, has enhanced its golf course, part of the Louisiana Audubon Golf Trail, and added new touches to its guestrooms as the 600-acre property enters its 14th year.

Located on the East Texas-Western Louisiana border, the resort’s on-property golf course has been improved with new fairways, re-built bunkers and newly manicured greens.

For years, golfers have come to Cypress Bend for the course’s challenging layout with elevated tee boxes and breathtaking views of Toledo Bend Lake including ten holes along the shoreline. Surrounding hardwood forests and undulating greens add to Cypress Bend’s challenge and beauty.

“The course is in better shape than ever before,” remarks Ken Rams, head golf pro at the Cypress Bend Resort.

In addition to improvements of its golf course, Cypress Bend’s spacious guestrooms, suites and Golf Villas have been outfitted with new bedding and plush duvets as well as new LCD flat-screen televisions.

Guests at Cypress Bend also enjoy the resort’s full-service spa with its comprehensive menu of body treatments for men and women. Spa services for children also are available.

Amenities include winding hike-and-bike trails, perfect for bird watching and getting up close to nature, the Sabine Social Room, an indoor/outdoor pool and fitness center, an outdoor herb garden dining experience and breakfast, lunch and dinner with Louisiana favorites in The Cypress Dining Room.
