)-- AIMS, Inc. today announced achieving the Silver Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Competency in the Microsoft Partner Network for the third consecutive year. The Microsoft Partner Program was originally launched in October 2003; AIMS has maintained its Microsoft partner certification status since 2005.
“To earn Microsoft’s Silver Competency, partners must complete a set of rigorous tests to prove their level of technology expertise, submit customer references and employ or contract a required number of Microsoft Certified Professionals who are skilled on current technology relevant for the competency. The Silver Competency emphasizes our strength in today's technology market and demonstrates our continued knowledge of Microsoft and their products. This achievement demonstrates our ability to meet our clients' evolving needs in today's dynamic business environment,” said Robert Canterbury, AIMS’ president.
“Partners who achieve a Silver Competency have proven themselves as specialized technology experts with the skills needed to best serve customers,” said Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “The Silver Competency in the Microsoft Partner Network is designed to help customers identify services and solution providers that have demonstrated proof of their capability to deliver quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.”
The Microsoft Silver Competency defines partners’ success as technology market leaders within a specific technology competency to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the industry. Requirements for the Silver Competency are comparable to the formerly recognized Microsoft Certified Partner criteria.
“AIMS’ achievement gives us access to the latest technology, market opportunities, and sales and marketing resources Microsoft specifically created with software developers in mind,” said David Dorries, AIMS’ Director of Sales and Marketing.
The Microsoft Partner Network is designed to equip organizations that deliver products and services through the Microsoft platform with the training, resources and support they need to provide their customers superior experience and outcomes.
