Money Journal Names Wealthiest Movie Stars

Las Vegas, NV, October 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The highest paid actors and actresses in Hollywood make the headlines for record breaking salaries. It seems that only a handful brought in huge salaries for hits at the box office a few years ago. But there’s a growing legion of stars bringing in huge salaries.

Money Journal.com researched the industry from top to bottom to come up with its “A” list of stars taking home the biggest money for performances in the movies to be the wealthiest movie stars in the business.

You might be surprised at a few of the wealthiest stars, who are raking in big salaries and then making even more on their money in other parts of the entertainment business. Veteran Hollywood actors Mel Gibson, Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood and Tom Hanks made the list.

However, newcomers also make the list of 19 performers, who are sitting on millions of dollars for their acting performances on the Big Screen. Tyler Perry, Johnny Depp, and Keanu Reeves are among the group, who are still working in the business and expected to make many more movies in their young careers at the box office.
