The School District of Philadelphia is Going All Out to Help Its High School Athletes

The School District of Philadelphia has partnered with athlete recruiting company inRecruit.com to help its student athletes get athletic scholarships to colleges and universities.

Philadelphia, PA, December 03, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The School District of Philadelphia is excited to announce its new partnership with athlete recruiting website inRecruit (www.inRecruit.com) which will enable all of Philadelphia’s high school & youth athletes to market themselves in a digital format directly on inRecruit.com to colleges across the country. In this age of social media and electronic self-marketing, it is becoming vital for youth athletes to seize control of their online brand-image and to build resumes in a digital format highlighting their positive qualities and attributes. Through its partnership with inRecruit, the School District of Philadelphia has acted proactively on behalf of its student athletes to enable them to promote themselves directly to colleges and universities in a digital format.

“The youth athletes within the School District of Philadelphia will now have direct access to and be able to form real relationships with colleges and universities all over the country. Our student athletes can utilize these personal relationships to reach beyond the typical paper or email mass mailers to provide a real identity for themselves to colleges which we believe is a significant advantage for our student athletes.” said Robert B. Coleman, Executive Director of Athletics for the School District of Philadelphia.

“inRecruit is thrilled to enter into a partnership with the School District of Philadelphia which is one of the most prominent school districts in the country. Through this partnership, the colleges and universities on inRecruit will now be able to form trustworthy connections with thousands of student athletes and parents from Philadelphia which is fantastic,” said Malik Allen former NBA player and co-founder of inRecruit.

The inRecruit athlete recruiting software has been featured nationally by NBC Sports, ABC and Comcast SportsNet and has also been embraced by youth athletes and college coaches worldwide.
