NeedThese Completes Authorized Samsung School Solution Provider Training

Tempe, AZ, December 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- NeedThese today announced it has completed certification in becoming an authorized Samsung School Solution provider. Headquartered in Arizona, NeedThese has been providing technology solutions to enhance student learning in school districts for over 12 years.

“Finding the right tools to enhance student achievement, has been a core principal in the successful partnerships we have had with school districts,” said Tony Riggs, Director of K-12 Sales at NeedThese. “We at NeedThese are confident once again that we have found the right tools to accomplish student success and are proud to be partnering with Samsung for the integration of Samsung School Solution into classrooms nationwide.”

According to a survey of school district administrators and instructional technology leaders conducted by the Center for Digital Education, enabling personalized learning, increasing student engagement and enhancing collaboration are among the top drivers for implementing one-to-one computing programs. However, only 48 percent of survey respondents saw a noticeable increase in classroom collaboration by implementing one-to-one computing when compared against traditional classrooms.

Samsung School was developed to address this demand for an integrated solution that would enable dynamic instruction, interaction and collaboration. Samsung School combines the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 tablet with a range of classroom technology, all tied together with Samsung’s learning management and interactive teaching software. The easy-to-use learning management system (LMS) aids teachers with course administration and content management, as well as providing course bulletin boards, school announcement and texting features. In class, interactive teaching tools include: screen sharing; student screen monitoring and device control to track student progress and keep lessons on track; instant quizzes and polls; and group collaboration on a single digital canvas making use of the GALAXY Note’s sophisticated S Pen.

“We know this solution will be successful in our district due to the Professional Development we received from our partner NeedThese,” said Stacey Hawkins, Director of Technology at Riverside Elementary School District #2 in Phoenix. Riverside School District #2 is located in Phoenix, Arizona. Our district is made up of newer residential properties with nearly 1,000 students on two campuses with a third campus on the drawing board.
