Sheppard Pratt Health System Appoints New Addition to Board of Trustees

Baltimore Search Consultant Phil Grantham joins Sheppard Pratt Board.

Baltimore, MD, January 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Sheppard Pratt Health System is pleased to welcome Phil Grantham to its 28 member Board of Trustees, effective immediately.

A Baltimore search consultant, Grantham has chaired and held key board roles for organizations including Easter Seals, GBC Leadership, Baltimore County Leadership, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine.

“We are elated to have Phil’s extensive knowledge and background onboard at Sheppard Pratt,” said Dr. W. Byron Forbush II, board chairman. “Given the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape externally and within our own walls, Phil’s insights and contributions will surely prove meaningful on our Board of Trustees.”

Grantham has a broad background in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, in areas such as healthcare, business services, financial services, human services, trade associations, and educational institutions. Prior to his role as a search consultant, Grantham maintained a successful career as a financial executive in the financial, transportation and healthcare fields.

An alumnus of the Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership program, Grantham is a mentor to recent graduates, and is currently assisting United Way as an Ambassador for the Alexis de Tocqueville Society. Grantham received his B.A. from Brown University and a MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
