Lexington, KY, January 28, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Dr. Amy Gill is pleased to announce her affiliation with Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. and Tribute Equine Nutrition in Ohio. Dr. Gill will work alongside Kalmbach Feeds/Tribute Equine Nutrition’s current equine nutritionist, Dr. Dan Burke, to expand the reach of Tribute and continue to educate the sales team, dealers, farms, and veterinarians. Dr. Gill will assist the sales team in the field, consult with clients, present seminars and educational training sessions, create and edit copy for promotional materials and web content, and help promote the marketing of products and services offered by Tribute Equine Nutrition.
Dr. Amy M. Gill is an independent equine nutrition consultant based in Lexington, KY and Boynton Beach, FL. As a consultant, in addition to the services previously cited, Gill also provides many on site farm consultations. Dr. Gill is involved with several large breeding farms and performance horse stables in the USA and abroad, providing consultation on nutrition and exercise programs and assisting with optimizing equine nutrition through nutrient targeting. Some of Dr. Gill's past and present clients include Todd Pletcher Racing, Michelle Nihei Racing, Anthony Dutrow Racing, Michael Stidham Racing, Mark Hennig Racing, John C Kimmel Racing, Gainsway Farm, Lanes End Farm, Glencrest Farm, Siena Farm, Hill N Dale Farm, Eutrophia Farm, Sunday Morning Thoroughbreds, and Valkyre Stud.
Gill says, “I am thrilled to have formed a strategic partnership with Kalmbach Feeds to help support and promote the Tribute line of equine feeds. I have always admired the contemporary formulations and quality of the feeds. One of the most attractive attributes of Tribute feed is that it is manufactured solely at Kalmbach Feeds in Upper Sandusky, OH. Many commercial horse feeds are 'toll milled,' where another feed mill is hired to handle the manufacturing. By manufacturing their feed in-house, Kalmbach has complete control over all the manufacturing and distribution processes, from ingredient selection to ensuring fixed formulations, product storage and cleanliness of the mill. The mill is state of the art and their business has expanded greatly over the past five years, prompting an expansion that is currently underway. This is a 50 year old, family owned, American company that is clearly prospering in a downturned, economic climate.”
