About:
Nylon Fusion is a company of writers, actors and directors committed to developing and producing original plays that explore political, social and cultural awareness.

Every season, Nylon Fusion presents three (3) featured productions and four (4) festivals. Festivals, titled This Round’s On Us, showcases 10-minute plays, presenting an exciting venue for new works by our Writers’ Collective as well as guest writers. In 2012, Nylon showcased new works by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright John Patrick Shanley (writer of Moonstruck and Doubt) a long time friend of the company, LABrynth Theater Company’s Craig SirmuMsila Grant and Kristina Poe. In 2013, we showcased new short works by award winning playwrights Don Nigro and Robert Askins as well as produced an original full-length play “Luft Gangster” directed by Austin Pendleton.

"The six-year-old indie Nylon Fusion Theatre Company has a festival of well-chosen short plays four times a year. Led by Ivette Dumeng and a glamorous team of actors, the evening has an unexpected effervescence. An open bar near the stage encourages audience – and cast – to down a few drinks and be happy. The plays are all funny, and there’s an uninhibited party atmosphere, but also serious acting going on." -Linda Ollie TheatreRowReview

“… you’re almost guaranteed to be swept up in the story for the believability of this talented group of actors.” - Inside New York
