Ministry of Information Society Unveils iVote Technology Based E-Learning System

Skopje, Macedonia, January 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Today the Ministry of information society and administration of Macedonia announced the launch of the new e-learning management system (LMS). It is based on iVote Epistum online learning and testing platform, in partnership with Asseco-SEE as a prime partner. The system is a web-based training solution that manages and delivers training courses. This solution helps public employees to increase their knowledge and improve their soft skills, in order to increase work productivity. With the LMS’ robust and scalable architecture, large number of users can access the system simultaneously, any time and from any place they want, regardless of the location. All the training materials, interactive e-courses, videos, images, lessons, conference information, evaluation tests and quizzes are stored in a single, consolidated learning system. Public employees can communicate with their educators and peers through online communication tools, and use web-conferencing module for online lessons. Making the learning process more interactive, collaborative and personalized will contribute to well trained employees and improved public services for citizens of Macedonia.

“Being part of this project is significant contribution of our company towards improving e-society in Macedonia. With the implementation of our system, public employees of all Ministries and several Government agencies in Macedonia will have access to the latest courses and information regarding specific areas and departments. Public expenses for organizing face to face courses, providing hard-copy materials, accommodation and travel costs and time spent on traveling will be substantially reduced,” stated Tomislav Zografski, Managing Director of iVote.

In the initial phase of introducing the LMS employees of the Ministry of information society and administration of Macedonia will start to use the system. The responsive design of the system allows access by different devices such as PC-s, mobile phones and tablets. Each employee will receive appropriate training program, and therefore augment its working skills and competencies. Gauging the learning progress of the employees and generating reports and statistics, will allow officials to easily identify employees prosperity and improvements.

The aim of the final phase of introducing the LMS is to cover all public employees in Macedonia.
