Baarn, Netherlands, February 01, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- As PENTATONE celebrates its 13th anniversary, it is time to reflect on its achievements and looks toward the future. Creating Timeless Classics is released in February and will be the first to feature the label's new visual identity.
The compilation CD is pretty much every piece one would expect to be included, and then some. A good variety of music to please every palate, from an incredibly precise performance by Julia Fischer to Mari Kodama’s solo piano which allows listeners to experience the full glory of Beethoven’s music.
This 15-track compilation CD can be enjoyed by both the curious beginner and classical fanatic.
This is what Gramophone says about one of the tracks: “This new recording (Felix Mendelssohn- Bartholdy Piano Trio) is irresistible, with the three players caught in a wholly natural ambience. It’s always a good sign when you don’t want to stop playing a disc long enough to write about it.”
Creating Timeless Classics is available on record stores worldwide from February 1, 2013.
