Giving Underprivileged Artists in South East Asia a Real Future: "2000 Bricks" Crowd-Funding Campaign Launched

A crowd funding campaign to raise funds to construct a state of the art recording studio and video production facility in Manila in the Philippines to assist Artist Development in Music and the Arts within South East Asia.

Manila, Philippines, February 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- In restaurants and bars across Asia and the world, talented South East Asian musicians and singers dazzle local audiences with their talents and prowess – all for relatively low wages and economic rewards.

Many of these talented artists, despite their significant talent, struggle to support their families while pursuing the vocations that they love.

Red Fan Records was recently established to change the futures of South East Asian artists. Red Fan exists to provide South East Asian talented artists with access to recording facilities, international music producers and marketing capability – to record these artists and market their music to global audiences.

As a key step to changing these artists lives, Red Fan Records has launched a public crowd-funding campaign on Indiegogo.com called "2000 Bricks," to raise funds to build a modern recording studio and video production facility in Manila, the Philippines.

People who would like to pledge their support are invited to visit the “2000 Bricks” campaign www.indiegogo.com/projects/2000-bricks, and purchase a “brick” or “bricks” in the future studio wall.

Pledgers will have their support recognised by having their names and their location written on "bricks" on the inside walls of the studio.

Very generous and committed supporters can also purchase a "Star" on the future studio’s "Floor of Fame," where they will have their personal message of support etched into the studio floor in a "Star," which will remain for as long as the studio is active.

Finally there is an unconditional pledge option for supporters to pledge any amount of support for the “2000 Bricks” campaign.

Funds raised, in addition to enabling the modern studio and video production facility to be built, will also be used to provide 12 selected artists/bands each calendar year with a record contract, and access to the talents of international record producers and marketers, to launch these artists’ music to global music lovers - thereby changing their and their families’ lives forever.

Through the “2000 Bricks” campaign, Red Fan Records will also offer talented videographers and graphic artists the opportunity to develop music videos, and cover artwork and promotional material for single and album releases.

Red Fan Records cannot realise its vision of changing the lives of South East Asian artists – and bringing their phenomenal talents to worldwide music fans - without the support of the music-loving public, and those who would like to make a real difference in the lives of these talented artists from underprivileged situations.

Those interested to find out more can watch the short campaign video and pledge their support at www.indiegogo.com/projects/2000-bricks.

On behalf of artists in the Philippines, Indonesia, and across South-East Asia, Red Fan Records thanks all those who pledge their support to make this vision a reality.
