DEUS Rescue Expands Its Offering to Include Line of Anchors Designed to Complement Its Leading Rescue and Safety Solutions

Versatile Anchors May be Used to Support Safe Rescue Rigging and More, in a Variety of Situations and Environments

Boulder, CO, February 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- DEUS Rescue, a premier provider of innovative vertical rescue solutions, today announced it has expanded its product line to include an array of anchors to provide customers with more complete solutions. The DEUS anchor offering will now include removable anchors, beam anchors, and swivel anchors, in addition to the DEUS Rope-Over-Wire (ROW) anchor connectors. This more extensive offering of anchor solutions is designed to complement DEUS descent devices and kits, or any descent and rescue equipment, in a range of applications.

“Our customers look to DEUS for top-of-the-line rescue products when working at-height,” said Shain Rae, chief executive officer, DEUS Rescue. “Now, our vertical rescue solutions include the best anchor products for a wide range of applications and environments. These reliable, versatile anchors may be used to provide a safe anchor point in minutes, almost anywhere it’s needed, including I-beams, concrete structures, steel panels and more.”

Three types of anchors have been added to the DEUS line:

*Removable Anchors for more temporary applications: DEUS Removable Anchors insert in seconds and may be removed and reused at any desired location for the ultimate in flexibility. They’re suitable for fixed anchor points, staging, rope access, scaffolding tie back, restraint, fall arrest, work positioning or rescue applications.

*Beam Anchors for I-beam use: Lightweight, yet strong, offering complete freedom of movement and superior performance on overhead I-beams. Ideal for restraint, work positioning, fall arrest and rescue.

*Swivel Anchors for versatile anchor points: Featuring full 360° swivel and 180° back-and-forth movement, these anchors are durable and bolt in easily. They’re ideal for temporary or permanent lifeline systems, staging and rigging, restraint, positioning, fall arrest and rescue.

The addition of these new anchor products, combined with the DEUS Rope-Over-Wire (ROW) anchor connectors, provide a complete anchor offering from DEUS. Super strong and lightweight anchor connectors, the DEUS ROW is available with either a clear vinyl sheath for harsh environments or rope sheath for easy handling. Each easily attaches to any anchor point for all fall protection and rescue scenarios. They can be used in choker, basket or end-to-end configurations for simple, safe, cut-resistant attachments to any anchor.

All DEUS anchors are ANSI Z359.1 certified, with many carrying EN and NFPA certification as well.

DEUS Rescue controlled descent devices provide the foundation of complete escape and rescue solutions for those who work and play at height. DEUS products are used in a variety of industries such as the fire service, electrical distribution, oil & gas, wind power, telecommunications, law enforcement and recreation.
