New Music Video from “Chinese Food” and “Friday” Producer - “Mini Van” - “Mini Van” Takes Glastonbury Teens to Hollywood and Back

"Mini Van," a new music video from "Friday and "Chinese Food" producer, features Connecticut teen's original song, and elevates the manvan/swag wagon to new heights of coolness.

Glastonbury, CT, February 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Josh Wagner (aka “J-Wags”), a junior at Glastonbury High School in Connecticut, has composed a lot of songs throughout his teen years, some just for fun, or especially for friends. He’s even recorded a series of biology and history raps to help him and his friends study. In early 2013, Josh teamed up with musician James MacPherson, a GHS senior (with his own band, Bonsai Trees), to record “Mini Van,” an ridiculously catchy hip-hop cruising tune that rides surprisingly smooth.

Last fall Josh shared the song with several video producers, and got a call from PMW Live in Los Angeles (Patrice Wilson, producer of “Friday” and “Chinese Food”) with an offer to make it happen. Within a few weeks Josh, James, and family members headed out to Hollywood to put the minivan pedal to the metal.

At the end of January 2014, “Mini Van” debuted on YouTube and garnered more than 1,200 views within the first 24 hours (view it here: http://bit.ly/minivanyoutube). In the video, “Mini Van” transforms the quintessential family car into the ultimate swag wagon, elevating its coolness to out-of-this-world proportions.
