Hicksville, NY, February 16, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Banks in NY, NJ, and CT are getting wiser when it comes to renting generator sets, and avoiding scams.
In the early stages of the latest storm here in the Northeast, a bank called On Site Energy and rented generator sets ranging from 35 kW to 300 kW, 23 generator sets in all. Within hours of agreeing to pay rent for the generator sets, and having them held in On Site’s yards in New York and in New Jersey, something brand new happened.
Patrick French, General Manager of On Site Energy, said, "The bank sent an Inspector to our yards, viewed every single generator set, had us start and run each one, and inspected all of the power cable associated with all of the generator sets. The Inspector remained on our premises for the next 8 hours, until the storm began to subside, and the potential for power outages began to diminish."
French said, "In today's age of internet scams, grossly misleading representations of Companies to the market, and outright misrepresentations, Customers are becoming wiser and not assuming what they are being told is accurate. On Site Energy, being in business for 30 years, delivers on its' commitments, and hopes more Customers will take the time to protect themselves, visit our shops and see for themselves."
