Brian Alfaro Partners with the Multiple Sclerosis Society

San Antonio, TX, February 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- This Saturday, March 1, the Multiple Sclerosis Society will hold its annual 5K MS Walk in San Antonio. Located at the AT&T Center in downtown San Antonio, the MS Walk attracts thousands of volunteers and participants seeking a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Multiple sclerosis is a genetic disease that causes the body to attack its own nervous system. This leads to a variety of mild to severe symptoms ranging from numbness to loss of sight, or even to complete paralysis. Advancements in treatment have enabled most people suffering from MS to live a normal life. Events like the San Antonio MS Walk raise awareness and funding for better treatments.

Brian Alfaro, a local San Antonio oil and gas entrepreneur, is partnering with the MS Society to find a cure for multiple sclerosis. Although Alfaro is known well for his dedication to San Antonio charities, he is sponsoring the MS Walk because of its great personal significance. Brian Alfaro was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when he was a teenager. Now, two decades later, he’s giving back to fellow MS patients.

Join Brian Alfaro this Saturday, March 1 to stand up to multiple sclerosis.
