The new retail package was redesigned by reforming the storage rack decking to allow for a smaller package footprint and reduced weight. The weight of the box was reduced by 40% from 150 pounds to 84 pounds. The box cubic feet foot print was reduced by 40% from 50x30x4 or 6000 cubic inches to 51x13x5 or 3315 cubic inches. Customers have commented that the package is easier to move and handle. The new design, according to customers who have installed them, is easier to install and cuts install time by up to 1 hour over previous models.
The Innovative Garage which also sells wall organization units, shelving, and motorized storage lifts, will sell these units in the lower 48 States, from their Sandy, Utah facility. This will allow TIG to meet the increasing need of garage storage products in the United States.
