)-- Bishop Garland O. Heggie, founder and senior pastor at Community Fellowship Christian Church, a nondenominational church serving worshippers in North Carolina, has announced the launch of The G.O. Heggie Show, to air on CW22 beginning Monday, March 24 at 7:30 a.m. The show will run every Monday at 7:30 a.m. and will promote an empowering message informing and inspiring viewers on a wide variety of topics, including health and fitness, music, fashion and faith.
A firm believer that leaders of the church must deliver their message in a different way in order to connect with the next generation, Bishop Heggie is launching the show in an effort to bring scripture to life and expose the younger generation to leverage what’s already available to them. The show will take a talk show format and will feature a wide variety of guests, including nationally recognized matchmaker Paul C. Brunson and other local celebrities.
Heggie founded Community Fellowship Christian Church in 2000, serving as senior pastor. The church’s mission is to bring people into a saving, redemptive and transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. Through spiritual enlightenment and economic development, the church hopes to become a global ministry by empowering individuals, strengthening families and building communities. Reaching out and encouraging the younger generations with the word of God is one of Heggie’s main goals.
“I am excited to announce the launch of our television show so that we can help viewers take their lives to the next level,” said Heggie. “The G.O. Heggie Show is a great opportunity for people to connect with the word in a different way, and it is designed to empower people through information, revelation and inspiration. We are excited to bring this show to North Carolina.”
