Toronto, Canada, April 04, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- For the American fleet management company Emkay, rebranding in the Canadian cities of Montreal, Calgary and Toronto was a momentous decision. After purchasing the already-existing business JPL, the Emkay team was ready to make a name for the company throughout the provinces. To ensure that their interior workspaces reflected their modern working culture, they hand-selected Mayhew, a leading interior design firm, to transform their new offices.
The central focus of the project was Emkay’s Toronto headquarters, which represented almost 6000 square feet of space. Completed in September 2013, the finished product reflects the contemporary office design innovations for which Mayhew has long been recognized. Mayhew’s team of experts was mandated to retain the existing architectural character of the original building, located within a vibrant neighborhood along Atlantic Avenue.
Mayhew helped Emkay realize its vision of creating “Customer Innovation Centres,” best defined as spaces designed to invite and welcome new and existing clients. In these Centres, Emkay’s range of vehicle options and services are showcased in a fresh, dynamic format. Modern furniture adds to the functional solution.
“The Emkay project was enormously exciting,” says Steve Cascone, Design Principal at Mayhew. “We were given the opportunity to help the company make expansion inroads by turning their workspace vision into reality. The results are elegant, stylish and memorable.”
Emkay’s headquarters in Toronto is only one of the many case studies Mayhew shares on its website. For more information on other contemporary office designs spearheaded by the firm’s professionals, visit them online at www.Mayhew.ca.
