)-- Australian author Drew Lindsay has become one of Amazon’s Best Selling Australian Drama authors yet again with the release of his 14th novel, "Gone."
Set in Charters Towers and Townsville in Far North Queensland, Australia, "Gone" is the story of two 6 year old girls who are abducted from their homes during the night and simply vanish. Intensive searching and investigation by police turn up nothing. There is no demand for ransom and no contact from the girls. Some evidence suggests they have been murdered. Around 2 years later they are declared officially dead by the Coroner.
One of the distraught mothers hires ex police detective Ben Hood to re-examine the available evidence. Ben has a rather unique way of handling witnesses who have refused to assist police with their inquiries. New lines of inquiry open up and Ben is faced with the grim and dangerous task of locating the two missing girls, either dead or alive.
