Irene Roth Named Marketing Director of the National Writing for Children Center

The National Writing for Children Center is a showcase for children’s books and their authors and illustrators.

Jensen Beach, FL, April 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Irene Roth is the new Marketing Director for the National Writing for Children Showcase at writingforchildrencenter.com

She will be responsible for promoting the Showcase and keeping in touch with authors and illustrators who join the Showcase to have their works promoted for an entire month. The Showcase includes a weeklong virtual book tour, having their work displayed at the National Writing for Children Center site for a month, and being interviewed by the center director, Suzanne Lieurance, on her weekly internet radio program, "Book Bites for Kids," at

Ms. Roth is an Author and Editor for Halo Publishing. She has a Masters Degree in Philosophy and Psychology from York University and is currently using her expertise to write for kids about empowerment and self-esteem. She has published articles for kids, tweens and teens in Encounter, and Stories for Children Magazine.

Each month, the National Writing for Children Center showcases children’s book authors and/or illustrators to let children, parents, grandparents, teachers, librarians, and others interested in the world of children’s literature know about these artists’ wonderful new children’s books.
