London, United Kingdom, May 03, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- A new type of travel website, www.inspireourtrip.com, has recently been launched that aims to help people dramatically cut the time they spend planning their holidays, and reduce their pre-holiday stress levels.
A recently published survey from Teletext Holidays has found that 53% of us do not enjoy planning our holiday. Not surprising when we spend an average of 2 weeks deciding where to go, a further 13 hours researching where to stay and what to do, and an additional 11 hours sorting out flights and transfers. This means on average it takes around 3 weeks to plan a 9 day trip.
Inspire Our Trip is distinctive in providing not just content to help holiday makers research destinations, but the capability to book hotel rooms, flights, transfers, hire cars and attractions at the same time. The site has particular expertise around visiting the US National Parks which is hard to source in one place elsewhere. There are itineraries for road trips, city breaks and beach breaks, as well as the National Parks and a host of practical tips to save money, time and hassle on everything from obtaining your ESTA to reducing the excess on your hire car. Inspire Our Trip pulls together flight and hotel recommendations for each itinerary, to make it easy to research and then to book your trip through your favourite online booking engine.
Co-founder Anna said, “We came up with the idea for Inspire Our Trip out of the frustration at the time it was taking to plan our own trips. We couldn’t find a reliable source of quality information that saved us from hours poring over guidebooks and internet forums.”
Co-founder Louise adds, “There wasn’t anything that filled the middle ground between the high end tour operators that would tailor make a trip for you and mass market tour operators. We want to travel independently, but wanted to create a resource to allow people to do this without spending weeks on research.”
Inspire Our Trip currently specialise in trips to the US, but has plans to expand to other destinations.
