)-- The second annual Decision Camp, a free event dedicated to sharing Decision Management best practices and latest technologies, will be hosted at eBay, October 13 -15, 2014. Decision Camp is the premier Decision Management event that brings together thought-leaders, technology providers, consultants, and practitioners to learn about and discuss the latest developments and trends in Decision Management.
Decision Management is focused on automating and improving operational business decisions – the decision’s that organizations make hundreds or thousands of times per day as part of an organization’s daily operations, like fraud detection, insurance and loan underwriting, claims processing, and upsell /cross-sell offers. Decision Management leverages data to increase the precision, consistency, and agility of automated operational decisions using technologies such as business rules, predictive analytics, and business intelligence.
This year’s Decision Camp features sessions for all levels of decision management practitioners – from beginners to advanced users. The last day of the conference will be devoted to covering vertical applications of decision management in Healthcare and Financial Services. In addition, hands-on workshops give participants the opportunity to gain real experience using various Decision Management products and attendee-organized Birds of a Feather sessions provide opportunities for participants to network, exchange knowledge, and learn about specific Decision Management related topics such as legacy modernization, big data analytics, and marketing Next Best Action decisions.
Decision Camp is currently looking for industry practitioners interested in sharing their experience. The call for speakers is now open and the deadline for submissions is May 31, 2014.
