Davis Plastic Surgery Adds New CoolSculpting® Handpiece

Raleigh, NC, May 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Davis Plastic Surgery (http://www.drgmdavis.com/) is adding the Coolsmooth Handpiece for its CoolSculpting® treatments. This Handpiece allows the practice to slim and tone previously untreatable areas where non-surgical fat removal is desired.

Typically, CoolSculpting® involves placing a suction device on the treatment area. The device needs to be able to "grab on" to a certain amount of tissue so that the treatment can work. Taut tissue in the treatment area could not be treated using the suction device. However, the Coolsmooth Handpiece now allows for successful treatment of these firmer areas. It does not rely on suction and can conform to any body type without the need to gather tissue between two cooling plates. Instead, the Handpiece's cooling plate can be placed directly on the areas of the unwanted fat.
